As a 17 year resident of Sterling Park, Amy Riccardi is hoping to bring academics and accountability to the forefront of Sterling schools in Loudoun County, Virginia. 

Amy grew up in the Houston area where her dad trained astronauts at NASA. She graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in communications.  After moving to Northern Virginia, Amy obtained her masters in education from George Mason University and continues to serve there as an adjunct professor in the business school.  

Amy has lived in Sterling since 2008, where she runs a consulting business and is a proud parent of 4 public school graduates. Amy is also devoted to her two energetic doodles, Gunnar and Ella.
